Some people have been living with guilt for so long that they are unaware of the burden that has been weighing them down. As Jeff Foxworthy world say: “You might be a guilt sponge” if 1) your heart says “no” and your mouth pipes up, “Yes, of course, I’d be happy to.” 2) you are overcommitted – trying to be all things to all people, hesitant to say “no”, 3) you make YOUR choices in trying to please OTHERS and 4) you apologize for normal everyday events that don’t go according to plan.
