The “I Can Do It” conference in Toronto provided me with a lot of food for thought. I want pass on some of the tidbits that resonated with me. Hope you enjoy them and get a few inspiring thoughts of your own. Although I’m putting these words in quotation marks the words might not be exactly as the speaker spoke, but that is what I wrote down.
Wayne Dyer: “If you flow the head, you’ surely walk in shit.” (As one who followed the herd, I know this to be true.)
Louise Hay: “You influence yourself more than anyone or anything else. You will have a relationship with yourself longer that with anyone else. Be careful of how you speak with yourself.” ( As one who always beats myself up in my mind, I’m now more aware of being my own best friend.”
Gregg Braden: “The world is really built on the spirit of cooperation, not competition. Just look at you body and how it works.” (The old “survival of the fittest” concept that followed me my entire lifetime, doesn’t hold true anymore.)
Caroline Myss: “In your penthouse you see life as it REALLY is. On the lower floors you “create your own reality.” (I need to go to my penthouse view to see how we all are part of the Divine Essence and everything happens in Divine Order….not to worry.)
Robert Holden: “The final act of healing is the acceptance that there is nothing wrong with you. No amount of self improvement can make up for any lack of self acceptance.” (You gotta love it….and your perfect self.)
Here are some pics from the book signing. Thank you to all the wonderful people that made my weekend so memorable.
