whyYour spiritual awareness becomes finely tuned as you discover you destiny. A while ago I wrote a “mini-series” to share some insights on “finding your why”. Oscar Wilde said that the two most important days of your life is the day you were born and the day that you discover why.

If you are floundering with your search for “why” you are on earth here are some helpful thoughts. You’ll find the preceding three parts earlier in the blogs on the website. Here’s the fourth and final installment of the my mini series:

“Finding Your Why”

Day 9: Trying to quiet the mind to make Divine connection is a “practice”. Yoga and meditation are designed to connect us to something larger than ourselves. At that time of “togetherness” everything seems to fall into its proper place. You see and understand everything is the right perspective. Mundane worries fall by the wayside. The pieces all fit together and you get the BIGGER picture. You are relaxed in the stillness and peace.
At that moment you are seamlessly connected to the universe and its wholeness. Its Light is your Light. It is a scared time to relish because you know who you are and how you are related to the WHOLE.

Day 10: This feeling of sheer contentment, blissful joy, and relaxed peacefulness are signs that you are on the right track, fulfilling your destiny. It’s a feeling of being “home” and “contentment”. Everything seems “easy”, like breathing. It’s a natural rhythm of inhaling and exhaling. We don’t have to strain to make things work. Let’s take a cue from our physical bodies and relax in the Spirit, knowing everything is Perfect.
We’ve all heard of “love at first sight”. We KNOW immediately that this is THE one. This feeling of “knowing” is similar to finding your “why”. When you are connected to this LOVE source, your “cup overfloweth”, your heart floats and your soul sings. That is your “why”. That is your destiny. Enjoy your journey.

Here’s your “Guilt-Free Living” Tip of the Week: Even asking a simple question, “did you call the gardener today?” can sometimes be taken as a nagging reminder bringing on unwanted defenses causing you to feel rejected. Lose the judgment in what you hear and how you respond.

I’m pleased to announce that “A Change of Habit” has been awarded “Honorable Mention” in the “Spiritual” category in the Great MidWest Book Festival (Chicago Market). That brings a total of 15 awards for the book. Thanks for all your support.
