My book, “A Change of Habit” recounts my spiritual journey that takes place over 40 years. The memoir tells the story of how being raised in a Catholic environment leads to a lifetime of making poor decisions based on fear, guilt, and pleasing authority. It’s the story of a “guilt sponge”.
“A Change of Habit” is not the story of a girl breaking from the convent after seven years of service to live happily ever after; the story’s uniqueness hinges on how ingrained duty lodges. This is a personal reinvention and empowerment that show it’s never too late to change one’s future.
On my personal road to mental health and maturity, I break from religious bondage and debilitating patterns preventing self-fulfillment. I share the “Seven Secrets to Guilt Free Living” that I collected along the way.
