Are you ready for a miracle? Miracles happen every day. Don’t miss your opportunities.
Dang! It’s 4:15 and those silly birds are louder than ever, chirping and singing. Don’t they know it’s still dark out and sunrise is a couple of hours away?
As I rolled over in bed covering my ears with the pillow, I mused on the singing birds that obviously could not tell time… or could they??
Searching for an explanation I finally got it! My “fine feathered friends” were singing their hearts out in anticipation. They were already celebrating the arrival of a new day. The birds honored the miracle that was about to occur.
To some people it would be just “another day”. But the birds noted this upcoming sacred event with a lilting melody. This dawn of a new 24 hours brings light, vision, and opportunities for new chances. What’s not to celebrate?
Sleepy me could have slept through all the excitement. We need to be like those tweeting birds awaiting the outburst of daylight. We need to build the joyful exuberance of hope. Let’s sing about our miracle, our gift of another day.
Here are 3 Ways to be a Miracle-Seeker:
1) Anticipate: before putting your feet on the ground, get your mind set for the day. Wonder what grand and glorious adventures God has planned for you today. Get excited for the incoming of the unknowns. Expect the miraculous. Get in the “ready position” like in tennis to receive whatever volley comes your way.
2) Pray: Prepare your mind and heart to foresee the events of the day bestowing all that is good. Frame your intent: “I want to see, I expect to see, and I intend to see that everything this day is perfect, all working out for my Highest Good. ” Enter into each situation knowing that you are Divinely guarded, guided, and gifted.
3) Remain Grateful: No matter what happens, try to find the silver lining, knowing that everything DOES work out for the best EVENTUALLY. Take a grateful heart to bed with you. Thank Spirit for at least 3 blessings you received that day. Knowing that you have an “assignment” before you drop off to sleep, you will keep your eyes and heart pealed to find your blessings throughout the day.
Ready, get set, and GO… go find and celebrate each miracle that comes your way today. We won’t even mind if you sing about it!!
