Our spiritual lives bloom in the rich soil of happiness. Happiness is an indicator that we are on the right track following our destiny. Our hearts are encoded with our life’s purpose, our life’s mission. And when we are “at one” with our destiny our souls sing! “Ahhh, now we’re talking….this is what we are made for”! I’m not saying that you will not have “down days” or hurdles to climb, but that’s all part of the Plan.
Don’t stuff those painful feelings deep inside without first examining them, reflecting on them, owning them. Those feelings are directional guides, your personal GPS. These emotions work as your “google search” leading you to your life’s purpose. Listen to the tugs of your heartstrings.
My good friend, Coach Bru, had an important thought in his “Words of Wisdom” section of his newsletter that lays at the heart of all happiness: “Success happens when you begin to take 100% responsibility for the results in your life”.
Happiness is a responsibility. We need look no further than our own selves for our happiness. Don’t look to other people to buoy you up or don’t waste your energy looking at times past or future events to build your happiness.
