Do you go through your day judging, evaluating, and analyzing situations summing it up as a good day or bad day?

When things are sailing along smoothly we may think, “Wow, what great day to be alive.” Or maybe your day may be a little tougher reflecting the expression of the baseball cap that read, “I’m having a bad hair day”?

These day-by-day ratings accumulate spreading into our entire lifetimes. As we reflect on our lives we become harsh judges taking into account things that we did or things we didn’t do

Sometimes we are filled with remorse for things that we left on the table unfinished like the piano lessons that I never got to or that trip to see my mom or the thank you note that I meant to write but never got around to it.

Other times we regret the actions that we did take that we now regret like the harsh words that we blurted out in a moment of ire, or cutting off the person on the freeway that seemed to be going too slowly, or feeling jealous at a friend’s good fortune when I was wanting.

Sins of omission and or commission eat away at our conscience robbing us of our intended happiness.

Let it all go…..enjoy the journey knowing that each day brings something you need whether that be happiness, experience, lessons or memories. Remember that life is not a dress rehearsal. Live it, learn from it and love it!

Never regret a day in your life:

Good days give happiness,

bad days give experience, worst days give lessons,

 and best days give memories!

“Good days” and “bad days” all go into your journey here on earth…Live both with gusto, gratitude, and grace.
