Oftentimes we get so caught up in our daily routines that we fail to remember just exactly who we really are. Most days we drag ourselves out of bed, don the clothes preparing to check the items off the “to do” list. We rarely skip through our days with abounding joy, as we should do.
In scrolling through my Instagram messages I came across this wonderful reminder of where we came from and why we are here:
“How cool is it that the same God who created the mountains and oceans, and galaxies looked at you and thought that the world needed one of you too?”
Yes, this puts you and your life’s work in the proper perspective. You have a song that only you can sing. You have a light that only you can shine. And you have a mission here on earth, that only you can fulfill.
If not you, then who?
You are amazing, astounding, and astonishing. You are brilliant and beautiful. You are clever, courageous and caring. You are fabulous, funny, and giving. You are happy, loving, and lovable. You are outstanding and sexy. You are terrific, tantalizing and totally wonderful. You are unique, unparalleled and special… but most importantly you are YOU.
You ARE God’s gift to the world….AND NEVER FORGET IT…..
So let’s stand a little taller, sing a little louder, enter a room with a little more confidence and laugh a lot more often, celebrating our Divine heritage and sacred mission.
