Can anything really be perfect? Well it is! All of creation is bursting with the Creator’s love. It’s up to us to discover how this “perfect” is in all the “imperfection” that we see.

Even if you just look at the letters of the word, “imperfection”, you will find the word, “perfect”. The smaller word is tucked, almost hidden, in all the rest of the letters.

How can we find this “perfect” with all the suffering, injustices, and misery in the world? How can we find that kernel of perfect order in the midst of the chaos surrounding us?

We need an attitude adjustment donning our faith colored glasses, know that everything works out for the best in God’s Big Picture. We may not understand it at the time. Maybe looking back in hindsight may help, but other times, may not.

One of my favorite authors, Neale Donald Walsch wrote: “Nothing is as bleak as it looks, everything is a blessing.”

We need to see the blessing or the opportunity in each of life’s circumstances.

In one of my workshop discussions, a woman summed this up using the word: “Blesson”. A blesson is the lesson that we are to learn in these trying circumstances but at the same time is really truly a blessing disguised.

Next time that you are trying to understand what in the heck is going on, searching for positive meaning, ….it just might be a blesson!

I found this on Facebook and gives us a great perspective on our journey:

“Life is amazing. And then it’s awful. And then it’s amazing again. And in between the amazing and the awful, it’s ordinary and mundane and routine.

Breathe in the amazing, hold on through the awful, and relax and exhale during the ordinary. That’s just living a heartbreaking, soul-healing, amazing, awful, ordinary life. And it’s breathtakingly beautiful.” LR Knost

Just keep putting one foot in front of the other, breathe, smell the roses and know that the best is yet to come. Find your perfect wherever you are.

What do you do to try to find the “perfect” in your life?
