In a fit of frustration we have all probably cried out “Why me?”.  Small inquisitive children badger ceaselessly “why”?  Oscar Wilde wrote that the two most important days of your life are the day your were born and the day you realize “WHY”. Why? Why? Why?  A most important question.  Do you know “why” you are here?  How do you find out this very imperative answer?

I answered these questions on my Patty Kogutek – Author Facebook page in a “mini series” format.  Judging from the most positive responses, I’m not the only one interesting in finding out why I am here.  I know not everyone of you got a chance to read the posts so I am going to let you peek into my diary as I work through this question.  For my next few blogs I will be discussing “why”…..

Day 1:  I believe that my life destiny is encoded in my Soul – that Divine part of me.  It’s my lifetime mission to “listen” by feeling the Divine leading me to my path’s destiny. I had a difficult time “listening” because I was “clogged”, blocking the flow of energy in efforts to please others rather than to listen within.

We need to open up to the Spirit who is directing us every day by our feelings and emotions.  We we are truly happy, following our destiny, there we will find happiness. There we find WHY.

Day 2:  To find out “why” you were born you nave to “listen and feel” your way through life, reading all the emotional signage along your way.  How?

First step:  Get out of your mind, your ego (as my dear friend and mentor, Shirley, calls “I” the “drunken monkey”.)  Sometimes the mind creates useless anxiety trapping you in old reruns of fearful tapes and “what ifs”.  This kind of mental gymnastics is USELESS.

First challenge:  Move out of your analyzing mind and into your feeling heart.  See how many times today you can tap into your feelings.  How do you feel right now?  Happy?  Bored?  Angry?  Sad?  Restless?

I dare you today to see if you can check in with yourself and identify at least 5 feelings during the day.  Are you up to it?  Let’s find out exactly “why” you are here.
