“WHAT were you thinking?” is one of the most frequently asked questions I hear.   How does a normal fun-loving teenager find her way into a convent in the 1960 to take the vows of poverty, chastity, and obedience?  What factors went into that “tide-turning” decision?

This Prequel, “The Making of a Guilt Sponge” answers those questions.  This is the original first seven chapters of the award winner, “A Change of Habit”.   These chapters set the stage explaining the high school years that led to my entering the convent.  One copy editor wanted an exciting beginning with Chapter 1 starting the day that I walked through the convent doors, leaving this background information on the cutting room floor.  I think this Prequel is important to show just how these “guilt trips” work in our everyday lives, sometimes taking us on unwanted destinations. This prequel will answer the question that always get asked,  “WHAT were you thinking?” Enjoy the “outtakes”, the original first 7 chapters of “A Change of Habit”.

Since you are my most treasured readers this Prequel is your FREE.  Here is the link to download your FREE ebook.

Guilt-Free Tip of the Week:  Don’t blame yourself for everything that happens to you.  Everything is NOT your fault.  Replace that critical thinking with a healthy separation of outcomes.
